My name is Keiko Hayashi. I am a professional translator for Japanese, English, and Indonesian. Through this service, I hope to serve as a bridge for cross-cultural communication.

About

I am a Japanese-English and Japanese-Indonesian conference interpreter.
I graduated from Soka University in Japan with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, then continued my studies in the United States and earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After working as a full-time employee at a U.S.-based financial institution, I transitioned to an in-house interpreter.
I also lived in Jakarta for 8 years. During this time, I studied Indonesian at the University of Indonesia. I also obtained certification as an English-speaking guide at the National Museum of Indonesia. Through my volunteer experience as a guide at the museum, I gained a deeper understanding of Indonesian history and culture.
After returning to Japan in 2020, I founded an online language school now called HK Academy (formerly Gogaku Mind Academy).
Since 2021, I have been furthering my interpreting skills through online training at an interpreting school. After gaining experience and refining my skills in various fields, I began my full-time career as an interpreter in 2023. In the same year, I was selected as a finalist in the Grand Prix for Simultaneous Interpreters.
Since 2023, I have had the opportunity to teach students about Indonesia and its neighboring countries as part of the interpretation course.
Currently, I provide interpreting services across various fields, including education, arts, pharmacy, medicine, and business.
Through my work, I aim to bridge cultures and contribute to fostering mutual understanding and international peace.
